I wanted to create a piece of art that radiated peace and loving kindness from the heart. A strong image of a woman and a lighthouse came to mind. No matter how rough the ocean/ life is this female deity was steadfast in her love and compassion for others offering hope and light.  When I completed the picture I looked for a suitable name for this goddess. ‘Mazu’ appeared, she  is a Chinese Sea Goddess and protector of the seas and all who sail in them with her miraculous interventions.

All prints are shipped flat and in a waterproof sleeve with backing board to prevent any bending and/or water damage during shipment.
